Freezed Sparkle of the dew.....
In the wee hours of morning, the alarm went off with a bleep……I shuddered, and flung the novel which I was reading till the midst of night onto the alarm so that it can jus shut up its vociferous tone……but of no avail……I bet alarm clocks are most confusing equipments ever manufactured with the WORST sounds! Ultimately I gave up my struggle, threw off my quilt, rubbed the sleep from my eyes, took a deep breath and stood up not so enthusiastically to wade through the hours of the fresh calendar day….The stupid clock showed the time of ten minutes past 6……..Nd it wasn’t a perfect day either for a morning walk but, as ever ,I decided to tag along with the usual routine…..I snailed out of house, only to find the streets deserted and hazy with a thick cloud of fog. It was jaw dropping and teeth tattering chill outside, but the morning pious fresh cold air which was slapping my face and breeze sliding right through my cotton shirt woke me up more and more every subsequent moment…
I reached the park braving the chill. The pious dew on grass and saplings, made the planet earth look ever beautiful, as shining as a jewel in the crown, as goes the old metaphor…. This coupled with the chirp of the birds hauled me into a world of tranquility which made me forego the sole rationale for which I had come there and instead ended up relaxing on the bench, cherishing the splendor…..May be I have never ever felt so close to nature before!!
Few minutes fluttered by when the diffused light of the sun started appearing from the barks of the trees bestowing upon the sky a golden panoramic canvas ………Nature snarled back to its normalcy …..That’s when I thought that no beautiful thing however alluring it may be to your heart or eyes can be treasured forever, and perhaps your heart stands best witness to the memoirs etched with those precious moments…..
I stood up again, to stride back to my house. I was feeling sleepy still but my spirits were awake this time!!
